I've got gas...

CNN reports on the soaring gas prices and it's effect on the economy:

"Those most likely to be worried about the financial impact are people with low incomes, the unemployed and minorities."

Duh.

Journalism at its finest.

And people say that CNN is left-leaning. If they really leaned left, they would have added, "Because, for serious, if this was going to affect rich white guys, do you really think Bush wouldn't have done something by now?"

acg, I think you mean "leaned really left" not "really leaned left". They really leaned left when they pointed out that those the most "worried about the financial impact are people with low incomes, the unemployed and minorities." Can someone explain to me why minorities are singled out as a group who would worry? It seems safe to assume that if your are a member of a minority that is either unemployed or have a low income you'd be worried. If you don't fall into either of those categories are we to assume that minorities just worry about the rest of the world a lot more than white folk? Are Michael Jordon and P-Diddy losing sleep over some poor white smuck not being able to fill up the family truckster?
